  1. Sherry, I really like this. the berry is good. The colors work well. I also like the green leaves. The only suggestion I have is the dark shadow at the crevise of the strawberry kinda cuts the berry in half. This is ok but might work better if a little curved or off center. Still I really do like this. It is very pleasing to look at.

    Suggestion - Be careful to let space over the strawberry next time ;)

    As it is not so easy to get dark background with watercolor, sometimes it is better to go for white and play more with the shadows.

    Nevertheless I like very much the texture of this background. And your strawberry is juicy!

  3. Sherry, what a well-done closeup. This makes the bark irrelevant (which it really should be), and the strawberry & leaf are the main subjects. I love seeing watercolor done well, and I think this one is.

  5. Very nice! Somehow I really like the painterly look where the colors appear to flow without too much restrain... I guess that the beauty of watercolor.
