Sherry, I really like this. the berry is good. The colors work well. I also like the green leaves. The only suggestion I have is the dark shadow at the crevise of the strawberry kinda cuts the berry in half. This is ok but might work better if a little curved or off center. Still I really do like this. It is very pleasing to look at.
Sherry, what a well-done closeup. This makes the bark irrelevant (which it really should be), and the strawberry & leaf are the main subjects. I love seeing watercolor done well, and I think this one is.
Very nice! Somehow I really like the painterly look where the colors appear to flow without too much restrain... I guess that the beauty of watercolor.

As it is not so easy to get dark background with watercolor, sometimes it is better to go for white and play more with the shadows.
Nevertheless I like very much the texture of this background. And your strawberry is juicy!
