Thanks, everyone. The feathers weren't as feathery as I wanted. I was surprised that the texture of the canvas gave me some trouble when trying to get some finer strokes. A smoother surface would have been better.
Pat, you really captured the essence of a cute duckling! I love your use of high and low lights to really make the painting pop!
