Pat, What a beautiful painting. You know that I love the rich bold and free strokes.I love the abandon that the palette knife affords. I really have no suggestions for improvement. I love it just as it is.
Nice job Pat, great crop and colors, the only thing I see could be improved, is the shadow on the first leaf, I think the shadow starts where the tip of the leaf touches the table.
Really like this one Pat. The crop, the colors and of course, the palette technique. And yes, I see what Horst is saying about the left leaf's shadow. What you have is an overlapping shadow from something that you have taken out of the painting (another leaf). I know when I change the crop on things, I am always pondering what to take out/put in - really does changes things doesn't it?
