Paula, this puppy is so adorable. It just looks like this little, fuzz ball puppy that wants to be picked up and held. Love what you did with only black & white (I read your blog) - isn't it amazing what can be done with a couple of colors! Your subtle background works well on this.
This little creature looks so adorable. If I happen to be a kid (which is not the case any more) this puppy would be my favorite cartoon character. It is absolute "love at first sight" as an illustration.
If you are seeking more realistic appeariance, then more variety and non-straight fur hair is needed.
