Hello Millie, Nice size and yet difficult choice being a square but you made the portrait fit comfortable visually within it. The dramatic shadows draw your focus onto her face, but I'd like to point out your pillow is very nice! I would have liked one more up-tone of highlights on her collar and dress that area is all mid-toned together.
