I like the little riddle (?) that make an eyes path towards the buildings.
Well done.Byannickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16356934976654049210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3734923695875024838.post-47453372386309238002010-07-03T06:44:39.539-07:002010-07-03T06:44:39.539-07:00Thanx for your comments. Also, I did add a little red in the sky's reflection, but it might need some more of the hue. I had also tried adding yellow/orange in the sky between the red and blue, but then the building kind of merged into the sky, so I removed some of those colors to help differentiate the building from the sky. I've decided to try another landscape soon that has water and reflections in it, and I will definitely try out your suggestions there :)
ThanksChandnihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03235516195404418150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3734923695875024838.post-45095001613707252202010-07-02T14:34:22.599-07:002010-07-02T14:34:22.599-07:00I love the rose hue in the sky. The only suggestion would be to add a touch of yellow/green fade in the sky between the red and blue. (At least here in Texas, our sunsets look like rainbow skies with all colors present!) This is a very peaceful painting.Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17596599995370308702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3734923695875024838.post-8342343578344653372010-07-02T08:46:29.479-07:002010-07-02T08:46:29.479-07:00You spent some time on those reflections and it lo...You spent some time on those reflections and it looks wonderful. I like how you handled them and love the color you put into the sky. The only suggestions I might make on this is to perhaps fluff the clouds a bit more so they are not such a solid looking shape above the building. And add some of that gorgeous rose color from the sky into the reflection. Not a lot, just along the top of the trees & down between them. I think the foreground grass & tree are perfect!Nan Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03056726501810316005noreply@blogger.com
