  1. A very good rendition of the photograph. It may be the photography but the colors look a little dark, a little washed out. I like the background and the bark. It's easy to see that the berry is sitting on wood.

  2. Chandni, You have painted such a nice berry. I love the shadow under the berry it is perfect as far as shadows go. Your wood is very believeable. I think the wood could use a touch more highlight and also a little more highlight on the lonely stem. I like this painting a lot. Nice Job.

  4. I just now visited your blog Chandni. I think you can remove the word 'I am new to watercolor..." :) I think your paintings reflect lot of skill with the medium and great creativity.

    I specially liked the "Sunday Afternoon" painting in your blog... It evokes so many memories of my own study room!
