Simply amazing Darlene! I love pencil art and you really did it so well. Your background looks so soft and silky. And such nice blending. Very nice choice of colors - Your art work has a special warmth.
I specially love this composition perhaps because butterflies themselves are such delicate and pretty creatures.
Do you think that a slightly more contrast would have highlighted the butterfly a bit more?
In any case I love your pencil "drawing"...Well done!
I love the softness of colored pencil, and that quality really works well with this butterfly, Darlene.
I love pencil art and this is really a very beautiful example of it. Makes me wish I was an artist.
Really nice work and I love the softness in this also. I find colored pencils tough to do - this is inspiring me to try them again.
