Thank you all for your kind comments. I do enjoy scratching around with this old Edding profipen which has almost run out of ink. I can't get the same effect with a dip pen. I only have a basic set of W&N inks. Wondering whether to treat myself to some FW Acrylic inks. Do you know what the difference is?

Good idea to take just a detail, it makes an interesting picture, love it!!
This is a lovely way of using the main painting to generate a new idea and you have done it wonderfully well.
