Very beautiful. I love the way the background and colors are so nicely blended. The play of light makes the whole painting come alive.
The painting clearly has "drama" and grabs the viewer's attention. The texture and reflections of the surfaces (pears & marble) keep attention even longer, allowing the viewer more time to spend with the painting. I find that painting green pear is much more challenging than painting red pear due to very subtle changes in the color and hardness/softness of the edges. In almost all cases preserving white of the paper gives more luminosity to the colors.
Masterful use of the watercolor medium creates such incredible luminosity in this painting. Very nicely done!
