I agree with Renate, there's something special about the beautiful light in your painting. There is a sense of space, your tulip looks glorious in all it's splendour in the beautiful light. Congratulations!

Thank you all so much. I struggled a bit at the beginning because I usually use paint undiluted, but I put on many layers of thin paint and it seemed to work.
