Nancy, I am very intrigued by your painting. The technique and detailing on the hands and face and bobbins are excellent. It also brings out the major points of the painting.
I find the balance somewhat upsetting.
Thank you, I will take that to heart. I really screwed up one point an not sure I should point it out.lol And thoughs hands were driving me crazy. His right hand I finially got after putting the tools in it. The left my colors just wouldn't comply an my canvas was too rough. My main off was the angle of the head--next time I will be sure to stroke a focal line at the correct angle. Thanks Shirley! This is such good practice!
Nancy, I find your work very interesting. It's as if we see her through the bottom of a glass or a fisheye lens. Maybe you should increase the volume of her hair a tad just for balance sake. It's just an idea...
Nancy, you use such lovely soft colors.
Thank you for all your comments--How you see it, is important! It will help me grow. Thank You!
