Beautiful. This painting as well as other paintings on this blog give truth to this quote - "When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. Nice, I really think you did a great job capturing the essence of this flower. I like the green background at the top of the flower. It helps to bring my eye back into the painting. Thanks for sharing this one with the world.
I searched for areas which might need improvement but found none.

Strong painting and effect. I like the borealis feel on the top.

THe only suggestion I have is (in the future) to avoid the tangent (kissing) between tulip petals and leave.
