So soft and adorable little ducky. Very beautiful painting Carol.
Very well done Carol, nice muted colors.
Your handled the duckling effectively, but what really stands out for me in this painting is the water.
Love it! What else can I say.
Your duckling has a more cutesy feel than in the photograph. More lighthearted and perfect for a little girls wall! To me the balance is a smidgen off with too much blue beneath the duck. (In the photograph the second reflection balances the heavy blue on the bottom.) But painting on a square presents it's own sources of difficulties. I like the overall effect very much.
Thanks so much everyone for your kind comments and advice!! Blessings
Great painting, Carol. I do like the overall unity that you have in your painting. You really simplified the painting, and made your duck so soft looking...I just want to pick him up.
Can I hold this sofe looking little duck? I agree Pat, the overall unity is very nice.
