Linda, Oh so beautiful is your little duck. The water is just right.Good Job.
Linda - this is great. You've really set the bar high for the rest of us watercolorists! Really have to apply myself. I love the "precisely loose" brushstrokes and the wonderful colors. Looks like he's bobbing right along.
Thank you so much; I wasn't at ease painting the smooth water. I had to hold myself back so I didn't over do it.
Linda, I agree with Erma, you really have set the bar high for all of us. I really like your play of warm and cool, and the way you captured the movement of the water.
Linda this is wonderful, juicy colors and lots of movement.
Thank you Pat
Thank you Horst
I love that you painted both reflections. It really adds dimension to this great painting. My only observation is that the duck is quite dark and gets a tad lost in the dark water. A few more highlights on this otherwise awesome painting would really make the duckling pop!
Linda, this is a beautiful watercolor painting. I love the leaf in the water near the second reflection. Also, you've captured the water so well with simplified strokes. Looking forward to more of your paintings :)
Thank you Paula and Chandni
