Hi Shawn, lovely watercolor work.Liked the use of deep reds. What I notice is that there is a little too much highlight on the cut disc portion of the skin and the shadow too does not reach the end of it.But still I loved what you have achieved. Thanks for sharing your work.
Fabulous work! The fruit feels grounded onto this piece of wood...from this view it is often difficult to keep the object from looking like a flying saucer hovering above the slab of wood but you got it spot on...and the reflected light on the right,,,ahhh perfect! and your negative painting of where the seeds are makes it look really juicy. Super red color on the skin....usually the skin is much paler and drab but this really livens it up....good job on using your "artistic license" as I see you did on the the cut peel part on the left.
Beautiful use of color! I love the varying values of red. Your shadows are wonderful!
Really nice work Shawn. Love your touches of details to the peel & highlights to the seeds. Beautiful reds.
Your seeds are very realistic looking. The only thing I can see that might be tweaked is the table, the edges in the corners seem too light and are a little distracting. But other than that, great job.
Love it. Love the seeds and Love Love Love the red.

I love the reflected light on the edges of your fruit. Really makes it zing!
