A very creative take on this still life. I like the introduction of the yellow gold peel - with a knife included in the composition. Very nice.

I like your adding a knife there. I also thought of doing the same thing when it was already...too late, in the middle of my watercolor painting stage. I'm not a planner, so sometimes I regret I do not take time to lay out. Anyway, I love your creative touch, nice!

Sylvia, So glad to see what you did with this. I love that you added the knife and decided to lean toward yellow and orange. That's what makes art unique being able to express yourself despite the subject matter. Your peel coming off the pomegranate is very nice. I think the knife could have extended forward a bit instead of being at the edge of the fruit. Also the pomgranate itself is a little close to the edge of the painting however this may just have been a photo crop. Thanks for allowing critique I hope this helps. I look forward to seeing more of your art.

I especially like the way the you have made the background of the painting. Seems to almost give a sense of flow.

Sylvia I loved the way you added up elements to this painting making it your very own.I also liked yellow peel. Its is beautifully done.

This is surprising. Why yellow? I don't know much about pomegranates but all I've seen have been red. Maybe you know of another variety that is yellow. Your painting is beautiful, either way, and I like the modifications.

I really like how you made this painting your own. That yellow just pops, and the addition of the knife really adds to the composition.
