Love the background color you chose. Beautiful shade of blue. Good work on the bark too.
Very fine and detailed watercolor.
Strawberry shinning.
Backgroung well done.
Suggestion: None ;)
What I like about this painting is a lot of convincing details. Details of the bark and strawberry are very real, colors and shadows as well. For strawberry it still has room to go further with fine grained convincing details, but as you mentioned, sometimes (which happens quite often in watercolor) type of paper makes such a difference how far can we carry on before additional changes are not possible any more.
I really love the blue background! Your painting gives such a refreshing pleasant feeling. Its interesting how your choice of colors make the painting seem like a breath of fresh air!
Nicely painted. That blue background adds a lot of mystery to your painting. At first I saw sky, but now I see water. It's as if your strawberry is in a precarious place and could end up falling into that pool of water. Or, maybe just take a dip to wash off a little. LOL
I love the bright blue background. Very nicely done!
Pop culture strawberry! Yummy!
