Erma, I am privileged to be the first to comment on your lovely art. I love the berry. The crevice at the bottom is nice. I like the way you added the yellow on the berry it kinda brings the eye into the painting. The lonely stem is nice also. Thats about all I can say, who am I to comment on a watercolor which I know so little about.
Lovely, Erma. Your strawberry looks delicious!
Wonderful interpretation. I like how the background makes the bark & berry push to the foreground so well. My only suggestion would be a bit more detail on the left side of the berry, where the light hits it. But that is just me, and it is fine the way it is also.
A lot of variations - Well done!
Thanks, everyone, for taking the time to look and comment. It means a lot to have the input of other artists to keep me moving forward and finding the time to put brush to paper. I did this painting on my lunch hour, just so I could get it submitted. I missed the tulip deadline last month and was determined to get this one in.
