Dark and mysterious - I love it!
Now that Claire mentions it - your painting does evoke a subtle sense of mystery. Three people confabulating in the darkness. Very beautiful painting Cheri!
My first thought was that the figs were kind of lost in darkness, but after looking at them a bit longer I see that the subtle swipes of white really make them not lost but exotic. Love the wood grain, too.
Oh, it is very mysterious looking. I really like that "electric" look on the figs - makes them stand out, but not too much. Perfect with the mood of the image. Really like it!
