Funny how your title made me sad, too...... I wonder if you changed the title would the feelings associated with the painting change too. Great painting.........why did you name it that way?
I love these figs but also felt the dripping sadness after reading the title. Funny how the title does change the perseption of how the art is viewed.
I think you need a little more light to make this painting pop but it sure is nice as is. glad to see you joined this challenge and welcome.
vivid colors, lots of texture and lines that creates a dynamic movement in the work. The third fig that stands alone seems to be the sad one where the other 2 hints of whispers about the third. It does make me feel sad.
It's a very unique and creative take on the challenge, and I really like what you have done. The curvature of the figs is especially nice, as well as the background.
Thank you all...
Maybe they're sad because they think their bottoms are too round. I know I get sad when thinking about my round bottom. ☺
Gorgeous background, too. I love the kind of pop art feeling this painting has.
This is so different and so unique, I just love it. The colors are wonderful as is the background. Great work!
